Learn Advanced Concepts of Exercise Science and Physiology

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles of human movement, including biomechanics, motor control, and exercise physiology. Develop skills to communicate with diverse populations including individuals with chronic health conditions, athletes, and the public. Learn how to assess and design exercise programs that are safe and effective for all populations. Based on the program you choose, you will learn to:

Courses You'll Take

Earn your master's degree in applied kinesiology, clinical exercise physiology, or sport performance in as little as one year. All three programs require 33 hours, including an internship or thesis.

Students seeking an MS in Applied Kinesiology can complete the program in-person in as little as a year with an internship or thesis option. The MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology and MS in Sport Performance are both offered online with intensive, on-campus weekends (3 for CEP; 2 for SP).
